The servers get way too complex and over-weigh the games natural elements.
With the easy map editor, they go to extremes with creating new maps or adding tonnes of bulk into the old map, which is pretty silly since the idea of a SA multiplayer mode is that you could enjoy online game play in the actual game you've enjoyed in single player. And most of the servers seem to simply stuff as much in as possible. It's hard enough simply creating a game mode which is entertaining enough to play for an extended period of time. However, it provides too much of a broad weirdness in the servers which are actually available. MTA does provide a lot of great features. Well this is barely the place for this topic to even exist, but they're both share a similar problem, in my opinion. Take into account that GTA includes a large user base, therefore, there are even more possibility to make the most of this game playing against someone that thinks like a human.In my opinion, SA-MP is difficult for a newbie, because it must open the server.cfg to arrange and make a new server, need extra googling to find the tutorial or open the official website of SA-MP, maybe I should try the MTA SA this time, hope it's easier than the SA-MP
